We’d Like to Put Your Name in Lights!
Despite the huge growth of faculty, students, and programs at the Frost School of Music, until recently there were few significant changes to the School’s facilities. Many faculty continue to teach in small practice rooms and classrooms built decades ago. Some offices are far from the Frost School complex, hindering the harmonious sense of community so important to student-faculty interaction and creative endeavor.
According to national standards for music education, the Frost School of Music must more than double its existing space just to continue to compete with other top-ranked schools of music and conservatories.
Major new facilities are urgently needed to continue to attract and retain top students, as well as faculty.
We’re More than Half Way There with Our Capital Campaign!
Please join us as we complete our Capital Campaign for a new 80,000 sq. ft. Center for Experiential Musicianship which will provide the necessary teaching and chamber music facilities to properly implement the new Frost Experiential Music Curriculum. The Center will include a 200-seat Recital Hall and several Chamber Music Rehearsal Halls; technologically advanced and sonically pleasing Large Classrooms; and flexible Recording Sites for a variety of departments and programs. Excellent naming opportunities for these experiential learning spaces are available—it is a rewarding and highly visible way to associate your family name with the greatness of the Phillip and Patricia Frost School of Music.
