The Phillip and Patricia Frost School of Music will present its holiday gala dinner, Winter Wonderful, at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the beautiful JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in downtown Miami. The festive candlelight dinner features holiday music performed by hundreds of talented student musicians from the Frost School of Music who are pursuing their dream of a life, and career, in music. The goal of Winter Wonderful is to raise $100,000 for music scholarships at Frost.
Highlights of the evening will include a cocktail reception, three-course holiday dinner and joyous musical performances by youthful voices of the Frost Chorale, Symphonic Choir, Cantilena Women’s Choir and Maelstrom Men’s Choir and instrumentalists in the Frost Holiday Orchestra, featuring holiday carols from around the globe. The music director is Karen Kennedy, program director for Choral Studies at the Frost School of Music. Individual tickets begin at $250 and tables of 10 range from $2,500 to $10,000 and up.
