To the North, South, East, and West

MARGARET DONAGHUE FLAVIN, clarinet

Hailed for their virtuosity and creativity, Pulse is a fresh and inventive chamber music group that features Frost faculty clarinet artist Margaret Donaghue Flavin, widely praised for her beautiful and elegant sound; faculty violinist Scott Flavin, concertmaster for the Florida Grand Opera and music director of Miami Mozarteum; and pianist Marina Radiushina, prizewinner of numerous international competitions and artistic director of the Miami Chamber Music Society. For its Festival Miami debut, Pulse has selected an appealing repertoire mix by composers representing China (Sheng), Cuba (Touzet), Hungary (Bermel), Russia (Arutiunian) and the USA (Hindman and Bond).
