Clarke Recital Hall in the Weeks Center for Recording and Performance
Classical guitarist Paul Bowman is a passionate advocate for new music for guitar. Described by composer George Crumb as “a master performer” with “incredibly developed technical skills,” his artistry gleams in this recital as he performs Mark Delpriora’s Sonata No. 3; Nicholas Deyoe’s Quatsch; Dorothy Hindman’s Needlepoint; Charles Norman Mason’s Mirrors, Stones and Cotton for Electronics and Guitar; Jeff Nichols’ Counterpane; and Katerina Stamatelos’s RedMoons. He will also perform Chaconne in D Minor, BWV 1004 by J.S. Bach, arranged by Andrés Segovia.
