Music by Humperdinck, a premiere of an arrangement of a Verdi opera overture for saxophone ensemble, and a performance by Esneider Valencia of the Romantic-era Glazunov Saxophone Concerto are all planned for this wide-ranging concert featuring saxophone students of the Frost School of Music. The seldom-heard contrabass saxophone will also be in the group.
