The award-winning University of Miami Frost Salsa Orchestra will present an exciting year-end concert featuring its unique sound that blends jazz vocals, straight ahead swing, Funk and Fusion with the more traditional sounds in Afro-Caribbean music. Trombonist Chad Bernstein will be the featured guest artist. Past concerts have featured Silvano Monasterios, Jason Carder , Barry Reiss, Alexander Pope Norris ,Marko Marcinko and Shelly Berg.
The University of Miami Frost Salsa Orchestra was the recipient of the Best Latin Group 2009 Downbeat College Winner award.
