A SPECIAL NON-CREDIT COURSE
FOR LOVERS OF MUSIC & IDEAS – TUITION $150

Relegated curiously to positions of esteem slightly below composers such as Palestrina, Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Schoenberg & Bartok, these men commanded audiences in Europe & America during their lifetimes, won critical plaudits, knew the most interesting people & left marks indelibly on music’s history via works unique in creativity & expressiveness – yet most of us do not really know them as people.
These events aim to present the five great personalities using photos, drawings, letters, diaries, reviews & original commentary - along with audio, video & live musical examples.

Tony Boutté, Geoffrey Loff, Catherine Lan, Rosa Villar-Córdova-Scott, Marion Scott, Bergonzi String Quartet, Ross Harbaugh, Misha Dacic
