Divergent Boundaries—Celebrated Composers Concert

For 28 years, Festival Miami has been premiering new works by prominent guest composers and award-winning faculty composers. This year we are proud to introduce exciting new works by Lansing McLoskey, who was recently awarded a Goddard Lieberson Fellowship by the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and Charles Mason, recipient of the 2005 Prix de Rome. Also featured are Ford Foundation awardee Dennis Kam, Fulbright Scholar JB Floyd, and the 1992 Abraham Frost Prize in Composition recipient, Dorothy Hindman. Scheduled performers include: Margaret Donaghue, Naoko Takao, JB Floyd, Alex Appel, Jamila Tekalli, Mia Vassilev, and the UM graduate Saxophone Quartet.
