Innovative cellist and improviser Craig Hultgren will present a solo concert featuring an exciting evening of groundbreaking works for cello and electronics. Hultgren routinely challenges the limits of the cello, using amplification, electronics, and unusual techniques to create an unforgettable visual and aural experience.
Program includes Ospedaletto composed by Associate Professor Charles Mason during a residency as the 2005 Samuel Barber Prix de Rome winner, and the premiere of Sound/Water by Dorothy Hindman.
