2012 Stamps Distinguished Visitor Craig Carothers presents a free lecture entitled “Of the Journey and the Songs: Musings of a Modern American Songwriter” on Tuesday, February 7, 2:00 p.m. Carothers is an acclaimed American singer-songwriter originally from Portland, Oregon. Carothers’ songs have been recorded by such artists as Kathy Mattea, Lorrie Morgan, Andrea Zonn, and Steve Seskin. Carothers also wrote several songs for the 2005 movie The Californians.
