Festival Miami and the Frost School of Music welcome new choral studies program director Karen Kennedy for her aptly titled debut concert, A Whole New Ballgame. Kennedy leads the Frost Chorale in ethereal and profound works by Eric Whitacre, Carl Orff, Randall Stroope, Ola Gjeilo, Edwin Fissinger, and others. Jeffrey Stern closes with the Frost Symphonic Choir and vocal soloists performing excerpts from the baseball-themed one-act opera, The Mighty Casey by William Schuman.
