The Frost Wind Ensemble, directed by Gary Green, is an acclaimed ensemble that actively commissions new music, performs for numerous concerts, conferences and festivals throughout the season and has released numerous compact discs on major labels.
Through the generosity of the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation, exceptional young artists at Frost perform in chamber music ensembles of the highest caliber including a string quartet, woodwind quintet, brass quintet and jazz quintet.
The Frost Flute Choir, under the direction of Trudy Kane, performs standard and new flute ensemble literature in a variety of styles. Members also participate in master classes and audition coaching sessions.
The Woodwind Ensemble, under the direction of Luciano Magnanini, is an inspired and dedicated ensemble that studies and performs a variety of chamber music by the world's greatest composers.
