    Dan Andrews, alto saxophone, majored in Studio Music and Jazz Instrumental Performance at the Frost School of Music where he was a Stamps Distinguished Ensemble Scholar and a member of the inaugural Stamps Jazz Quintet, 2013.Dan Andrews was named an “Outstanding Soloist” at the Monterey Next Generation Jazz Festival (2010), and also the “Jazz Soloist” winner in DownBeat magazine’s 34th Annual Student Music Awards in the Undergraduate Outstanding College Performances category (2011). The Stamps Jazz Quintet was also chosen by DownBeat as the Jazz Group winner in the same year and category.

    Victor Colmenares, violin, majored in Instrumental Performance at the University of Miami Frost School of Music where was a Stamps Distinguished Ensemble Scholar and a member of the Stamps String Quintet, Class of 2014. Colmenares was offered a teaching assistant position by University of Oklahoma, where he is pursuing a Master’s of Music degree.

    Nicholas D’Angiolillo, B.M. '08, received his bachelor’s of music degree in Music Business and Entertainment Industries from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, where he was awarded a Stamps Endowed Music Scholarship. D’Angiolillo is the Licensing Representative at Naxos of America, Inc., a leading classical music label with over 360,000 recorded music tracks that are licensed and streamed around the world.

    Amanda Diaz, viola, majored in Instrumental Performance at the Frost School of Music where she was a Stamps Distinguished Ensemble Scholar and a member of the Stamps String Quintet, Class of 2014. Upon graduation, Diaz accepted a scholarship to pursue a Master of Music degree at the Cleveland Institute of Music.

  5. Nick Hetko, B.S. '13

    Nick Hetko, piano, majored in Music Engineering Technology at the University of Miami Frost School of Music where he was a Stamps Distinguished Ensemble Scholar and a member of the Stamps Jazz Quintet, Class of 2013. He won second place in the prestigious Jacksonville Jazz Festival Piano Competition in May 2013 and was part of the final four in the Nottingham Jazz Piano Competition in 2012. Hetko was the pianist for the Gibson/Baldwin 2010 Grammy Jazz Ensemble and received a DownBeat student award as outstanding soloist. He also received a Young Jazz Composer award for his composition Snowflakes from the American Society of Composers and Publishers (ASCAP).

  6. Michael Piolet, B.M. '13

    Michael Piolet, drums, majored in Studio Music and Jazz Instrumental Performance at the University of Miami Frost School of Music where he was a Stamps Distinguished Ensemble Scholar and a member of the inaugural Stamps Jazz Quintet, Class of 2013. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Piolet is regularly performing with local pros throughout South Florida and he often returns to Chicago to perform professionally.

    James Suter, bass, majored in Studio Music and Jazz Instrumental Performance at the University of Miami Frost School of Music where he was a Stamps Distinguished Ensemble Scholar and a member of the inaugural Stamps Jazz Quintet, Class of 2013. Originally from Hollywood, Florida, James Suter has performed professionally throughout South Florida for nearly a decade.

  8. Stephen Szabadi, B.M. '13

    Stephen Szabadi, trombone, majored in Studio Music and Jazz Instrumental Performance at the University of Miami Frost School of Music where he was a Stamps Distinguished Ensemble Scholar and a member of the Stamps Jazz Quintet, Class of 2013. He studied trombone privately with Dante Luciani and performed in the Frost Concert Jazz Band and the Frost R&B Ensemble. He also studied pharmacology and history while at the University of Miami.

  9. Arianne Urban, B.M. '14

    Arianne Urban, violin, majored in Instrumental Performance at the Frost School of Music where she was a Stamps Distinguished Ensemble Scholar and a member of the Stamps String Quintet, Class of 2014. Urban has participated in coaching sessions with string musicians from The Cleveland Orchestra and violinist and composer Mark O’Connor. Upon graduation, Urban continued her musical studies as a M.M. scholarship student at DePaul University in Chicago.

  10. Christopher Young, B.M. '14

Upon graduating from the University of Miami Frost School of Music, Christopher Young was awarded a scholarship to pursue a Master of Music degree at the University of Michigan.
