Auditions are held on campus and recorded auditions are accepted via DecisionDesk. They are scheduled after all Frost School of Music application materials are received and complete. Classical Voice, Classical Percussion, Classical Piano, and Classical Brass applicants will be contacted by the admission staff to set up your audition date and time. All other programs must contact the Program Director for their specific instrument/voice.
The following programs require a pre-screening by December 1. This must be uploaded to DecisionDesk:
All Jazz Instrumentalists/Vocalists
Keyboard Performance Degrees
Applicants to Classical Flute, Conducting, Jazz, and Keyboard Performance degrees must pass a pre-screening. Your pre-screening will not be reviewed by faculty until all application materials and applicable fees are received.
Faculty will review the pre-screening submissions and an invitation to audition will be extended to selected applicants. If selected to audition, you will set up an on-campus audition with the Program Director for your instrument/voice.
Pre-screening submissions will be accepted online only. All submissions should include both audio and video.
