Graduate Audition Requirements

*** All Orchestral Conducting and MM in Choral Conducting degree programs will be closed for Fall 2017 admission.

Auditions are held on campus and recorded auditions are accepted via SlideRoom. They are scheduled after all Frost School of Music application materials are received and complete.

The following programs require a pre-screening by December 1. This must be uploaded to SlideRoom:
Classical Flute
Classical Violin
All Jazz Instrumentalists/Vocalists
Choral Conducting
Instrumental/Orchestral Conducting
Keyboard Degrees

Applicants to Classical Flute, Classical Violin, Conducting, Jazz, and Keyboard Performance degrees must pass a pre-screening. Your pre-screening will not be reviewed by faculty until all application materials and applicable fees are received.

Faculty will review the pre-screening submissions and an invitation to audition will be extended to selected applicants.  All applicants invited to audition will be contacted to confirm an audition date choice.  Please do not make travel plans until you receive that audition confirmation.

Pre-screening submissions will be accepted online only. All submissions should include both audio and video.
