Leon Fleisher—renowned pianist, conductor and 2012 Stamps Distinguished Visitor—talks with Frost research professor Frank Cooper about his approaches to music, teaching and learning new works, what he feels are the most important basic lessons for young musicians, and his colorful history including studies with the legendary Artur Schnabel, recording with George Szell, and his struggle with focal hand dystonia at the height of his career.
