Their prestigious performances worldwide include London’s Jazz Café, Toronto’s Royal Conservatory, Heineken Jazz Festival in Thailand, Jakarta’s Java Jazz Festival, Singapore Sun Fest, Tel Aviv Opera House, Adelaide Festival Centre, Hong Kong’s Kwai Tsing Theatre, and Guatemala’s Festival Internacional De Styler.
Tiempo Libre’s debut album Arroz con Mango (Shanachie) received critical acclaim from Latin Beat, Hispanic Magazine and NPR’s Latino USA. Their first Sony Masterworks recording, Bach in Havana (2009) was Grammy-nominated for Best Tropical Latin Album. Their 2015 album Panamericano (Universal Music Latin Entertainment), features guest artists Jean Rodriguez, Yunel Cruz, Descemer Bueno, Frankie J, and Luis Fernando Borjas.
