Frost MusicTime Camp for Ages 4 to 6 Years Old
Children should be four years old by the first day of camp.  Designed for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten ages, the camp will run Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., July 8-19. Children may register for one or both weeks of camp.  Instruction will integrate music and art activities to increase the child’s awareness of their natural environment.  Because of its landscape and Lake Osceola, the university campus provides a perfect setting for observation of plant and bird life.  A snack will be provided each morning.  Lunch will not be provided.  Fees are $250.00 for the first week your child is registered and $150.00 for each additional week (includes a non-refundable $50.00 deposit to reserve a place). Fees cover a music CD, book, art supplies, and supplemental materials needed for all camp activities. Need-based scholarships are available but limited to attend summer camp. Please include a letter with your camp application stating your desire and need for financial assistance. Other documents may be requested to determine eligibility.

Piano Camp for Beginners, Ages 6 to 8 Years Old
The camp is designed for children who are interested in beginning piano.  The focus of the curriculum is on group piano instruction. Students will be using the computer lab in the technology center on the Frost School of Music campus.  There will be a variety of related musical activities, including singing, movement, drumming, dancing, and rhythmic and tonal patterning.  The instruction will also integrate music and art activities that heighten the awareness of the natural environment.  Because of the landscape and Lake Osceola, the university campus provides a perfect setting for observation of plant and bird life.  A snack will be provided each morning.  Lunch will not be provided.  The maximum number of students is 14; space will be allocated on a “first come, first serve” basis.  This camp runs for two weeks, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Fees for Keyboard Camp, including tuition and materials, is $500.00 for the two week session (includes a non-refundable $50.00 deposit to reserve a place).
