Honor Bands Festival
The Music Education Program sponsors the Frost School of Music Honor Bands Festival each year to be held February 15-16, 2013. The Festival brings to the Frost School of Music campus 250 talented high school instrumentalists from the State of Florida for two days of rehearsals, master classes by Frost artist faculty, and a final concert. A prominent conductor from the ranks of the finest university wind band conductors comes each year to guest conduct the Honor Wind Ensemble, Honor Symphonic Band, and Frost Wind Ensemble.
