Instrumental Conducting Programs at the Frost School of Music

MM and DMA Conducting students work with the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble or Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra which puts severe limits on the number of students we can accommodate. While there are many qualified applicants each year, the acceptance process is highly competitive.

Successful candidates are outstanding musicians with a passion for conducting. We look for students who demonstrate exceptional musical talent, skills, and leadership qualities.
