Louis Tertocha is the general counsel for the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and is also a lecturer in the Music Business and Entertainment Industries Program at the University of Miami Frost School of Music. In his role at the Arsht Center, Tertocha is responsible for legal advice and representation involving all matters pertaining to the Center including supervising the negotiation of contracts, procurement, claims resolution, advocacy support, regulatory affairs, and the full range of legal policies. Frost School of Music names 2013 Outstanding Seniors for their academic and artistic excellence.

The University of Miami Frost School of Music announced the Ft. Lauderdale based Georgina Dieter Dennis Foundation has awarded the school $50,000 for vocal scholarships in the academic year 2013-14.

Frost School of Music students were once again well represented in DownBeat magazine’s 36th Annual Student Music Awards, with 11 awards bestowed on ensembles, soloists, arrangers, composers and engineers.
