We strongly advise students to submit payments using the University on-line process payment instead of sending payments by mail. The on-line payment process is secure and payments are posted the same day. Payment confirmations are provided when the on-line payment process is used. Please note that payment with personal checks and credit cards can be processed on-line through the University's myUM system at http://myum.miami.edu/
All billing statements have corresponding mailing addresses. Students that prefer making their payments via mail must use the following address

Payment by Check or Money Order: Checks and money orders must be in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. Checks and money orders must be made payable to the "University of Miami " and include the student's identification number to ensure credit to the student's account. Post-dated checks are not accepted.
Although payments will be credited to a student's account on the day the check is processed, all refunds processed on an account with a personal check payment will be held for a period of twenty (20) days before finalized. This required process provides the University with operational time needed to record the possibility of returns or insufficient funds from banking institutions through University student systems.
