Online Payroll Direct Deposit via myUM – Used by all UM employees to request payroll deposit to new accounts, changes to existing deposit amounts, bank accounts and routing numbers. Log on to myUM at http://myum.miami.edu and follow these instructions:
1) Click on the Employee tab
2) Select Payroll, HR & Misc.
3) Click on Direct Deposit listed under the Employee Information section.

W4 Form Employee’s Withholding Allowance Certificate-used by employees to determine the amount of federal income tax to be withheld from their paycheck
W-4 Form via myUM – Used by all UM employees to update the number of federal withholding tax allowances claimed and consequently the amount deducted as federal withholding tax from each pay check. Log on to myUM at http://myum.miami.edu and follow these instructions:
1) Click on the Employee tab
2) Select Payroll, HR & Misc.
3) Click on W-4 info listed under the Employee Information section.
W7 Form Used by a foreign student or visitor to apply for an individual taxpayer identification number
W8 BEN Form Used by non-resident aliens to claim a tax treaty exemption and/or to claim foreign status (Instructions: www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/iw8ben.pdf)
