    August 22, 2012 – The Office of Research Administration (ORA) has launched a new Proposal Transmittal.

    July 10, 2012 – Personalized wallet-sized sales tax certificate cards are no longer issued to employees.

  6. UM Bookstore Now Handles Personal Technology Retail Purchases

    July 10, 2012 – Effective July 2, all personal hardware, software, and/or peripheral technology purchases previously made through the Technology Product Center (TPC) will be made through the University of Miami Bookstore.

  7. Promotion of the Changes to the eCheck System

    July 03, 2012 – In May of this year an announcement was made that informed of the severely curtailed use of the eCheck system starting in fiscal year 2013. - New Changes to the eCheck eForm will be made effective in UMeNET in July.

  8. Hurricane Season Preparation for Labs

    July 03, 2012 – When a hurricane occurs, time for preparation may not be available, therefore, the Principal Investigator and/or laboratory director should do advance planning.

  10. Changes to the eCheck System and Vendor Payment Procedures

    May 18, 2012 – Effective with the start of the 2013 fiscal year, the use of eChecks will be severely curtailed and will become a procurement method of “last resort”.
