Make a Greener, Smarter Impression with the Right Technology for the Job!
Having the right device to print, scan, fax, or copy documents can lead to significant environmental, productivity, and financial efficiencies. But what’s the right device? The answer depends on volume. The Managed Print Services (MPS) program, together with Canon, can help ensure offices and departments are using the most suitable and efficient devices for their output. To support the University’s sustainability goals, MPS and Canon recommend replacing inefficient single-function printers, fax machines, and scanners with multi-function, feature-rich, energy-efficient Canon devices.
Canon establishes environmental goals and monitors its progress on a yearly basis. Initiatives are continually undertaken to reach these goals, which focus on minimizing lifecycle CO2, raw materials/use CO2, and the energy consumption at operational sites. Targets have also been set at our operational sites for reducing waste generation, water usage, and chemical emissions, with ongoing steps being taken to improve on them.
