|CONTENT OF TRAINING:||Participants will understand their responsibilities to identify and properly dispose biomedical waste.|
|WHO MUST ATTEND:||Mandatory for any worker whose activities involve the generation of biomedical waste, also known as biohazardous waste and infectious waste. Training must be repeated annually.|

|EXPLANATION AND EXAMPLES:||Biomedical waste (also known as biohazardous waste and infectious waste) must be disposed according to each area?s Unit Specific Biomedical Waste Plan.
NOTE: Biomedical Waste training is presented together with Bloodborne Pathogens, Tuberculosis, and Latex Allergy training as a single session.
