• Appoint an EFTA program representative for your institution
• Advertise the EFTA program to students, faculty and administrators
• Create awareness of the EFTA opportunity among students through:
• Announcements in student meetings/orientations
• Email announcements
• Poster announcements
• Invite students to apply to your EFTA representative
• Recruit two to four top engineering students with at least one year of engineering classes
• Each institution determines their own selection process to identify "top" students
• Examples of criteria used by some institutions include marks/grades, student leadership quality, written essay, desire to have international experience, and career plans
