Campus Safety and Security
The safety and security of all those involved in the debate and related events is a top priority. Since last year when it was announced that UM would host a debate, University officials have been working with local agencies, as well as agencies at the state and national level, to ensure safety and to develop a coordinated and unified plan to act accordingly for any contingency. The week leading up to the debate will be a very busy time around campus. Traffic delays and changes in University operations are expected. The University has developed an extensive parking and traffic routing plan to minimize disruptions as much as possible. For more information on parking and traffic, visit the Transportation Issues page. Check back to this Web page periodically to read announcements for changes in normal University operations or other advisories. RECENT SECURITY UPDATES: (09/24/2004) ID
