Congratulations on your acceptance
to the Summer Scholars Program 2017!


Please read this section for information on the steps you need to take to prepare for your arrival to UM.

  1. Confirm your acceptance
    Submit the $500.00 non-refundable enrollment deposit online via the student portal CaneLink.

  2. Complete Checklists in Canelink
    Log into CaneLink and go to your "Student Center" to locate the checklists. Complete each checklist and submit the required acceptance forms to the SSP office. Instructions and forms are included with each checklist.

  3. Submit payment for the Summer Scholars Program Fee
    Submit your payment in CaneLink. The program fee is due on May 12, 2017. Students admitted after May 12th are required to submit full payment immediately upon confirming acceptance. Contact the IT department if you are having technical issues: (305) 284 - 6565. For other questions regarding payment contact the Summer Scholars office: (305) 284-4000.

  4. Add the following email address to your safe list, to prevent SSP messages from going to your spam/junk folder: ssp@miami.edu.

  5. Review the Summer Scholars Program Student Handbook for program information and tips on what to pack.

  6. Complete and return the Required Acceptance Forms to the SSP office by June 1st.
