Dear Colleagues:

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for all that you do for the University of Miami—helping us transform lives, supporting UM’s United Way campaign and the Dolphins Cancer Challenge, and, of course, giving directly to the University.

We are asking for your continued support this year. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference in someone’s life. Here are three ways to help make an impact:

  • Consider making a contribution to TeamUM United Way. Your gift can be unrestricted to the United Way, designated to a fund at the University of Miami, or directed to a not-for-profit of your choice.
  • The Dolphins Cancer Challenge (DCC), which funds cutting-edge research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the UM Miller School of Medicine, will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016. I invite you to sponsor a participant—or, even better, join me on Team Hurricanes by riding your bicycle, running, walking, or volunteering at the event.
  • And finally, you can make a gift directly to one of the many important University initiatives. Your support can help UM achieve its goals in many areas, including athletics, teaching, research, health care, and service to the community.

To make a gift, simply log onto Workday, go to the “All About Me” page, and click on the “GIVE” icon; then follow the instructions to make your donation. Thank you again for your generosity—and for all you do for our great University. Through your compassion, you make a difference in the lives of others every single day.

Sincerely,
