April 25, 2005 - UM Holds Commencement Exercises for Class of 2005
CORAL GABLES, FL – Over 2,500 University of Miami students will graduate at the UM Convocation Center, One Dauer Drive, on the University’s Coral Gables campus, during six ceremonies on Thursday, May 12 and Friday, May 13; the School of Medicine will hold its graduation on Saturday, May 14; and the School of Law on Sunday, May 15.
At each graduation ceremony, a distinguished individual who represents a cross-section of the arts, humanities, and sciences will address graduates. Two will receive honorary degrees from the University. .
December 2, 2004 - UM Holds December 2004 Commencement
Nearly 1,000 students will graduate from the University of Miami during Fall Commencement exercises on Thursday, December 16, at the University of Miami Convocation Center, 1245 Walsh Avenue, on UM’s Coral Gables campus.

Update on Presidential Debate
This month, two of the most exciting events in
the history of our community and the University of Miami will take
place. The University is honored to host His Holiness the Dalai
Lama on September 20, 21, and 22. On Thursday, September 30, all
eyes of the nation will be on the University as we host the first
Presidential Debate. As a member of our University community, the
following are details you need to know about these events.
August 25, 2004 - University
of Miami designated a Polling Site
The University of Miami’s
Convocation Center is doing more than keeping tally of the latest
basketball score. The Miami-Dade County Elections Department
has chosen it as an official polling site.

Summer is here, and while most of our students are
on summer break, University staff members are very busy making preparations
for what will undoubtedly be our busiest fall ever.

Camps at UM
Summer vacation is fast
approaching. Lazy summer days can quickly turn into boredom for
kids staying home for the summer. The University of Miami has a
variety of camps for children ranging from traditional sports camps
to art and theatre programs.

of Miami and Neighbors Reach Agreement on Student Apartment Plan
The University of Miami and the UM Neighbors Homeowners Association
(UMNHOA) have reached a mutual agreement on the 2004 development
plans for University Village student apartments.
