Parents Program

The University of Miami Parents Program is the bridge between students and their families, encouraging a strong community and spirit among all members of the University of Miami family. Through the leadership of the Parents Council, the Parents Program keeps you in touch with the University, involved in the education of your children, and enables you to provide the support the University of Miami needs to provide your children quality education.

As parents, you play an important role in your children's choice of university and in supporting their educational experience. By staying involved through Parents Program activities and supporting the Parents Fund, you have the opportunity to ensure your children have an exceptional educational experience.

Parents Fund

Most students at the University of Miami receive some form of financial aid. As a component of the University of Miami Annual Fund, the Parents Fund helps bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of funding an education. Additionally, Parents Fund gifts support University-wide initiatives, including scholarships, academic programs, student affairs, cultural events, library resources, research, professional development, and much more. Parents Fund gifts make a difference in the lives of today’s students and tomorrow’s leaders.

Parents Council

The Parents Council seeks to involve parents of students in campus and regional activities, providing meaningful opportunities for involvement in the University of Miami. Parents interested in becoming a member of the Parents Council should contact Anne Levy, M.B.A. '05 , Director, Parents Program.

President's Circle

The gifts parents make to the University of Miami Parents fund can qualify for membership in the President's Circle, the annual giving society for leadership donors. Gifts in excess of $1000 during the University of Miami's fiscal year (June 1 - May 31) offer the benefits in membership from the President's Circle.
