2008 'Canes Alumni Golf Tour
The University of Miami ’Canes Alumni Golf Tour is a nationwide tour, with tournaments in Atlanta, Chicago, Miami and Washington, D.C. The ’Canes Alumni Golf Tour is dedicated to raising scholarship funds to meet the ever-increasing needs of today’s students and with your help we’re sure to make that possible! Miami Golf Classic:
On Friday, May 2, 2008 alumni and friends of the University of Miami took part in the 10th Annual Miami Golf Classic at the Red Course at Doral Golf Resort and Spa. The tournament, which featured golf, a silent auction, raffle and an awards reception, raised scholarship funds for University of Miami students from the South Florida area. 10th Annual Chicago Golf Classic:

Chicago area alumni and friends are teeing it up on June 6th at the Oak Brook Golf Club. Please join us in raising scholarship dollars for the general scholarship fund for deserving Chicago area students. We are pleased to announce that Head Football Coach Randy Shannon, some of his assistant coaches, and former ’Cane, Greg Olsen will be joining us on the links and at dinner following golf. Don’t miss this extraordinary opportunity to support local students, the Hurricane Club, the local Chicago UM Alumni Club, and talk football with our coaches. We are also honoring a UM and NFL Football Hall of Fame member, Ted Hendricks, for his long-time support of the University and the local alumni club.
