| Applicant must be a full-time student at the undergraduate or graduate level, attending an accredited 4-year college or university or a 2-year college leading to a 4year degree, a member of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society who can furnish proof of tribal enrollment and majoring in health sciences, engineering, science, natural resources, mathematics, business, or math and science secondary education. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic achievement, leadership potential, financial need, and commitment to helping other American Indians. | |

| Enrolled and verified members of the following Indian Pueblos: Cochiti, Jemez, Sandia, and Santa Ana. Applications must be accompanied by an official transcript of the last school attended (high school/college). A letter of admission from an accredited college or university, 2 letters of recommendation, a certificate of Indian blood, a certificate of tribal verification, and a copy of the student's eligibility for a federal Pell Grant that shows financial need and that the applicant has exhausted all other possible sources of aid.
