Carol Patti McLaughlin Scholarship
Must have a GPA of at least 3.3, must have graduated from a high school in Charlotte, Glades, Hendry or Lee counties, must exhibit community service, pursue a degree at a 4–year accredited college in the United States.

Chip Johnson Scholarship
Must have completed 60 semester hours of college and plan to continue study toward a 4-year degree at Barry University, FGCU, Nova, Edison State College or Hodges University, or a regionally accredited college in the 5-county area, must have a GPA of 3.5 or above and an outstanding record of academic achievement, must live in the 5-county area served by the Community Foundation (Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee), must demonstrate leadership, community service and service to school

Must be a graduate from a public or private high school in Charlotte, Glades, Hendry or Lee County; must pursue a degree in: architecture, business, engineering, international relations, journalism, computer science, law, literature, medicine, physics, chemistry or political science; must document financial need; must possess a 3.5 grade point average or higher in college; must be 23 years of age or younger and a first-time college student; must attend one of the above schools

Frederick W. and Grace P. Brecht Scholarship
Must be a needy student with preference given to students from Brevard County, FL. Must be enrolled full-time in a degree-granting undergraduate, graduate, or professional program. Must demonstrate financial need as determined by submitting a 2013-14 FAFSA. Must have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Must be of good moral character and habits.
   
Deadline: To Be Announced
   
Amount of Scholarship: Varies; not automatically renewed. Students must re-apply each year to be considered.
   
Additional Information Please note that you must send your 2013-14 FAFSA results to the University of Florida (school code 001535). While University of Florida administers this scholarship, it is open to University of Miami students who meet the criteria listed above.
You must submit a completed scholarship application and any applicable documentation to University of Florida, Student Financial Affairs Office.
