Honors Program in Exercise Physiology (HPEP)
The Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences offers a 5-year program for promising students majoring in Exercise Physiology. Very highly qualified students are eligible to complete an accelerated 4-year program leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology following by one additional year of graduate coursework.
The additional year of study will enable students to complete all requirements leading to a Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology in the School of Education, (M.S. Ed.), in 5 years.
To be considered students must:
| be in the top 5 percent of their high school graduating class | ||
| have a minimum SAT1 score of 1300 or an ACT score of 30 and an unweighted GPA of 3.75 | ||
| complete a supplemental HPEP application by January 15 of their senior year |
