About Me:
I hail from the Rose City in the Pacific Northwest - Portland, Oregon - and am a proud alumna of Scripps College in Claremont, California. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband, a graduate of UM Law. Travel, fashion, dance, musical theater, and basking in the warmth of friends and family are "a few of my favorite things".
Why UM?
A high school student should choose UM because it's unlike any other college experience; UM offers more options to fewer students than any other University. We're a place that takes pride in allowing our students the opportunity to explore and own their educational journey, and as such, we watch our students grow into capable, intellectual, and unstoppable young people.
What is your favorite place on campus?
I adore Thursday lunches spent listening to Patio Jams in the heart of campus.
What advice would you give a high school student applying to UM?
Stay on top of the deadlines associated with the college application process, or it can be easy to get overwhelmed. A stickler for grammar, I would encourage you to triple check your essay before submitting it to us. Once the application process is behind you, get ready for a great adventure!
