About Me:
I grew up in Alpharetta, a city just thirty minutes outside of Atlanta, Georgia.  I left Georgia to attend college in South Carolina at the College of Charleston (go Cougars!) where I studied marine biology.  Outside of the office, I enjoy taking advantage of the warm weather and the water.  I like to go kayaking and paddle boarding on Biscayne Bay.

Why UM?
The University of Miami offers the unique mix of academics while being able to provide all of the extracurricular opportunities of a large school.  We offer the resources that larger universities are able to provide their students, all while fostering an active and spirited student body.

What is your favorite campus event?
My favorite event on campus would have to be the farmer’s market held every Wednesday right outside of the Richter Library.  It’s great to be able to walk by all of the local produce and grab a coconut to snack on.

What advice would you give a high school student applying to UM?
Visit!  If circumstances allow, I highly encourage a visit to the University of Miami for a tour or an on-campus admission event.  To be able to have the ability to visit this beautiful campus and see our dedicated faculty interact with our student body will offer a truly unique experience – not to mention it makes it that much easier to imagine yourself as a ‘Cane!
