About Me:
I am originally from Long Island, New York and moved to Miami in 2005.  I attended the University of Miami and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication.  Outside of working in the Office of Admission, I am pursuing my second degree from the U, a Masters in Higher Education.  I also really enjoy sports.  You can usually find me on the press row working at the Canes, Dolphins and HEAT games.

Why UM?
A high school student should choose the University of Miami because of all of the opportunities that are offered here.  You can choose what you want to study and start taking classes in that area right away.  Additionally, with over 250 student organizations, you can get involved outside of the classroom as soon as you step foot on our beautiful campus.  This is truly a student-centered university and you can see that in everything we do.

What’s the best memory you have of attending UM?
This is a really difficult question to answer because I can name a lot of amazing memories during my time as an undergraduate.  If I have to choose one, I would say the moment where it all came together at my graduation on May 15, 2009.  I got to speak to my classmates and reminisce about all of my favorite memories at the U while sharing the moment with my family and friends.

What advice would you give a high school student applying to UM?
Do your research and reach out to our office, reach out to current students and, if possible, visit our campus.  This will help you make the most educated decision and I am confident that you will find the University of Miami is a great fit for you!
