International Relations (6 Semester Credit Hours)

Meet us in Miami, the Gateway to the World...

What better place to learn about global politics than at a great university that happens to be in one of the fastest growing and most diverse cities in the world? Often identified as the capital of Latin America, Miami's also just a quick leap over the pond from Europe. Gain insight into the political system of the U.S. and how one event can affect the world.

Investigate the major domestic and international subfields of political science such as American government, elections, the courts and criminal justice, executive politics, technology and e-government and relations with the mass media. To experience the real-life challenges faced in maintaining U.S. political and economic influence in a rapidly changing world, you'll visit courtrooms and governmental institutions and attend private seminars with recognized experts in the field of global politics. There is an increasing demand for well-qualified and dedicated students in the areas of international diplomacy, law, public affairs and government.  Learn more about Political Science as a comprehensive field of study, and its four categories: American politics; comparative; international relations; and public administration.
