Retrieving Files

1. Clicking on the tab will bring you to the following screen:

2. Click on the icon to browse for the files you want to retrieve.

 

 

    

3. Select the file you wish to retrieve by clicking the check box to the left of the file's icon until the green check appears as in the example above.

 

Note: The directory structure will appear below the icon and it is identical to the directory structure on the hard disk of your computer.   The actual files will appear in the box to the right as is illustrated in the example below while the left screen gives you the option of viewing the files you have selected for retrieval.

 

 

4. Click the button on the bottom of the screen

  • The Retrieve Options dialog box will appears allowing you to customize which retrievable files you view. 

  • By default, the most recent version of each file will be displayed; however you can choose to display any version of the backed up file either by specifying a date, or by selecting the option that will show all versions of all files. This is useful if a file is modified slightly every day because COB will backup a different version of the file for each day it is modified.

  •  Select the option you prefer and click .

 

*Note that file versions which were backed up more than 60 days ago are unavailable for viewing.

5. Next click the button on the Retrieve View.

6. Select the appropriate option and click .
