Coral Gables, FL (March 6) -Spring Into Art – the signature fund-raiser of the Friends of Art of the Lowe Art Museum – will be held on March 19 at 7 PM at the Lowe Museum of the University of Miami. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Spring Into Art is a silent auction evening gala featuring cocktails, gourmet food and art from renowned local, national and international artists, as well as art students from the University of Miami.
Myrna Palley, chair of Spring Into Art, points out some of the stellar names who’ve contributed their work in recent years: John Henry, Richard Jolley, Ric Beck, and Bill Carlson, and local luminaries such as Jose Bedia, Pablo Cano, Bonnie Seeman, and Donna Underwood. Many are already repeat donors this year. Additionally, travel, theater and restaurant gift certificates are a popular attraction at the auction.
WACHOVIA Securities, LLC is the Grand Sponsor of Spring Into Art for the second year in a row. Tickets to the event are $150 per person. Cocktail attire is suggested and valet parking is complimentary.
