On Friday June 27, 2008 STA Travel Inc., one of the University's authorized travel agencies, announced the closure of 48 retail stores across the country.   The STA agency, located at the University Center is part of this transformation and is therefore closed. E-canes Travel, UM's Private Label Travel Booking Website, was also managed by STA Travel and will therefore be suspended until further notice. These closures are part of a corporate transition in today's difficult economic environment. STA Travel has announced that the closure will not affect current travel arrangements booked for UM clientele.

Effective immediately, please utilize any of the other three University of Miami's authorized travel Agencies (Four Seasons, Lorraine Travel, The Travel Source) for your travel arrangements.
