Leadership Certificate offer students the opportunity to earn non-credit certification in a range of leadership and management topics. Topics range from Emerging CANES to multicultural competencies, but vary on an annual basis to address student need. Participants complete a series of thematic workshops and other requirements specific to the certificate. Building progressively on one another, students are able to achieve different levels of certification based on certificates completed.
Two Certificates will be offered this spring as a "pilot program" Group Dynamics & Interpersonal Communication Skills for Leaders.
Note that registration for the certificate programs is closed, however- a limited number of students will be allowed to attend some of the workshops. Click here for more information. Please check back in May 2008 for information about the Fall 2008 Certificates.
Group Dynamics (Mondays 5:00- 6:30 p.m.)

- Post-Workshop Reflections (completed at the conclusion of each workshop & will be reviewed by the Butler Center staff)

- Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)- Personality Assessment
- Final Reflection Essay (2 pages)
- Post Test (passing score of at least 80 percent)
- Exit Interview

Certificates will be awarded to participants who attend the four mandatory workshops and complete the other described assignments and requirements. Participants who fail to complete the entire program will not earn a certificate during the Spring 2008 semester, but may have the opportunity to earn the certificate by making up workshops in future semesters.
Participants will be recognized at the Butler Center's End of the Year Celebration (Monday, April 28 5:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m.) and receive their actual certificates of completion at the event.
