Workshops

Untitled Document The Butler Center offers one-time, educational 1.5 hour long seminars throughout the academic year which are facilitated by University of Miami staff and community leaders. Workshops cover a wide variety of topics which address all skill levels from foundational skills for new leaders and advanced skills for experienced leaders.

Workshops offered in Spring 2008:
Several of the workshops for the Group Dynamics and Interpersonal Communication Leadership Certificate Programs have been opened up to a limited number of walk-in. Walk-ins must arrive by 5:00 p.m. to inquire about space available (no advance registration is available for the following workshops)

Workshops on Demand

In addition to the workshops offered on a regular basis, the Butler Center also offers "Workshops on Demand" for student organizations and non-formalized groups of students seeking customized training. A Program Request form must be submitted prior to the requested workshop date (preferably 30 days in advance). Please note that requests are not guaranteed, and depending on the nature of the workshop and the availability the Butler Center staff (or other UM staff/community leaders), programs will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
