Patricia A. Whitely
Vice President for Student Affairs, University of Miami

Patricia A. Whitely has been the University’s vice president for student affairs since 1997, and she also teaches in the School of Education. She served as chair of the Coral Gables Community Relations Committee from 2002-2004, is a member of the National Vice President’s Group, and a member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), where she also serves on the NASPA Editorial Board. She has also received numerous awards from University of Miami students for her outstanding contributions enhancing student life. Whitely received her bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University, her master’s degree from the University of South Carolina, and her doctorate in higher education from the University of Miami.
