Diane M. Cook

Diane M. Cook, vice president and treasurer, joined the University in 1979, was appointed treasurer in 1981, and vice president in 1991. Previously, she served Purdue University after graduating from there. She received her M.B.A. degree from the University of Miami. She is responsible for investments, accounting, and treasury functions at the University, acting as liaison with the Investments Committee of the Board of Trustees. The University’s controller and and treasury operations functions (including student accounts, payroll and accounts payable) are also under her leadership. Cook is or has been a member of the governing boards of Miami-Dade County Health Facilities Authority (chairman); Miami-Dade Investment Advisory Committee; Fiduciary Trust International of the South; and other community organizations.
