Applying for Financial Aid

Eligibility Requirements

ALL of the following criteria must be met to receive financial aid funds. A student must:

  1. be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen;
  2. be accepted and enroll in an eligible program as a regular student seeking a degree or certificate;
  3. be registered for Selective Service if you are a male between the ages of 18 and 25;
  4. make satisfactory progress toward a degree or completion of a recognized certificate program;
  5. not owe a repayment of a Pell Grant, a Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) or a state grant at any institution;
  6. not be in default or delinquent on any Perkins Loan, Stafford/SLS or PLUS Loan at any institution;
  7. not have borrowed in excess of the limits for the Perkins or Stafford/SLS programs;
  8. not have been convicted as an adult of possessing or selling illegal drugs.
