An option has been developed to allow students to have a concentration of courses in Aerospace engineering. This option in aerospace is built on the existing accredited degree program in Mechanical engineering and is staffed by regular faculty members.
Internal Combustion Engine
This option is designed to acquaint the mechanical engineering student with the fundamental science and engineering underlying the design of combustion engines and the fundamentals of emission formation in combustion systems. Included are studies of conventional fuels and alternative fuels such as hydrogen and methanol. Other than the above, a variety of options such as Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, HVAC Systems and Sustainable Engineering are also available.
