History and Description

The Biomaterials/Circulatory Assist Device Laboratory was established in 2003 under the joint efforts of the departments of Biomedical Engineering and surgery. It is located in room 8075A on the 8^th floor of the Rosensteil Medical Building. The laboratory conducts research in the areas of biomaterial synthesis and characterization, drug delivery systems, "stimuli-responsive" polymers, biosensors and circulatory assist device technology
