History and Description
The Biomaterials/Circulatory Assist Device Laboratory was established in 2003 under the joint efforts of the departments of Biomedical Engineering and surgery. It is located in room 8075A on the 8th floor of the Rosensteil Medical Building. The laboratory conducts research in the areas of biomaterial synthesis and characterization, drug delivery systems, "stimuli-responsive" polymers, biosensors and circulatory assist device technology
